Data Entry
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to all components of the above position summary, the following "Essential Duties and Responsibilities" are essential to successful performance in this position:
· Perform accurate and timely data entry and electronic document management as assigned.
· Access, download, organize, and maintain records and documentation from Welligent and other organizational systems as needed.
· Assist with clinical chart and electronic record management, including organizing documentation and ensuring records are appropriately maintained.
· Review data and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency and promptly report identified errors, discrepancies, missing information, or other concerns to the appropriate staff member.
· Organize electronic files and documentation in accordance with established organizational procedures.
· Assist with administrative data, documentation, record management, and special projects based on organizational needs.
· Follow established procedures for handling, storing, accessing, and transmitting confidential and sensitive information.
· Maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information (PHI), substance use disorder records, and other sensitive organizational information in accordance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part
Phoenix House policies, and other applicable requirements.
· Complete assigned work accurately and within established timelines.
· Communicate questions, concerns, documentation issues, or barriers to completing assigned work to the supervisor in a timely manner.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
· Adheres to ethical and conduct standards as established by professional licensure and Phoenix House policies.
· Attends all required staff training sessions in accordance with Phoenix House and state licensing requirements and completes all training on time.
· Attends and participates in program and all staff meetings as required.
· Adheres to and promotes the Phoenix House Mission, Vision, and Values while acting as a role model for others.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The incumbent in this position has no supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS

· High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
· Experience with computers, electronic records, data entry, or administrative documentation preferred.
· Strong computer skills and ability to learn and navigate electronic systems and databases.
· Proficiency in typing and electronic document management.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to identify and report errors, discrepancies, missing information, or other documentation concerns.
- Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and meet established deadlines in a primarily remote work environment.
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of PHI and other sensitive organizational information.
· Ability to understand and comply with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Phoenix House policies, and other confidentiality requirements applicable to assigned work.
· Professional communication skills and ability to appropriately communicate questions or concerns to supervisors and other staff.
· Legal authorization to work in the United States.
